A posting from my iPhone 3G

Hi. I got myself a new phone recently and am now in the process of figuring out how to get it to work as I want it to. I've just downloaded the LiveJournal.app and so far it seems pretty easy to use.

One of the issues I have though is with photography. I still haven't found an application that can upload my pictures to flickr in a sensible fashion. Some shrink the photos to a lousy 320x200 resolution. Others strip all EXIF data.
Is it really imposible to ceate an app that just uploads a batch of photos from the roll to flickr with no modifications?

Apart from that, it'll take some time to get used to the text typing interface. Especially with regards to the auto-correction feature. Instead of having to opt in when the phone gives a suggestion, i have to dismiss the suggestion. Which sometimes is a bit of a hassle, and interrupts my writing flow.

Now. I know that I'm not the only one with an iPhone, so I would like to hear from the rest of you. What's your experiences with the iPhone and what apps can you recommend.

Hugs
Søren

Do you like games? There are a bunch of pretty good ones depending on your game preference. A lot of them are pretty easy to work all the way through, which gives a gaming klutz like myself a sense of accomplishment. ;-) I enjoyed "Crazy Penguin Catapult" and am working my way through Block Breaker Deluxe, which is your typical "Arkanoid" type block breaker taken up a notch. Also includes inexplicable interjections by "Melrose Place" style images of pretty California rich kids who challenge you on to the next level. Worth it just to know you're beating those rich brats down!! At least on some weird level. Also if you're into the upcoming Watchmen movie, there's a neat little Watchmen app (free) with character bios, links to youtube previews, trailers, a countown clock, and other stuff.
How you doing furry boy?

I've been posting from my iPhone just in the safari browser.

As for cool apps, a friend of mine loves ocarina.

Cellphone "service" "providers" usually shrink and crapify images sent from cellphones. There is some ultra-stupid (i.e. excessively complex) method of saying Get it right!.

As osodecanela said above, just use a browser. Browsers are weird, but they do not "correct" your images in unknown ways, they just upload. Or, fail altogether.
