It seems that almost my entire LJ Friends list have chosen to participate in this meme... Here's my contribution...

Preemtive excuse: I didn't have time to take a picture at work, when I noticed the meme, so this is taken after I got home...
It'll probably invalidate the meme, I guess --- If so: here's a picture of me *LOL*

When you read this, you're tagged. Take a picture of you in your current state. No changing your clothes, or putting on makeup. NO Photoshop. Show your friends list the real you.

Hi. I got myself a new phone recently and am now in the process of figuring out how to get it to work as I want it to. I've just downloaded the LiveJournal.app and so far it seems pretty easy to use.

One of the issues I have though is with photography. I still haven't found an application that can upload my pictures to flickr in a sensible fashion. Some shrink the photos to a lousy 320x200 resolution. Others strip all EXIF data.
Is it really imposible to ceate an app that just uploads a batch of photos from the roll to flickr with no modifications?

Apart from that, it'll take some time to get used to the text typing interface. Especially with regards to the auto-correction feature. Instead of having to opt in when the phone gives a suggestion, i have to dismiss the suggestion. Which sometimes is a bit of a hassle, and interrupts my writing flow.

Now. I know that I'm not the only one with an iPhone, so I would like to hear from the rest of you. What's your experiences with the iPhone and what apps can you recommend.

Hugs
Søren

Here's a little update
  • I've finished the last Harry Potter... It's really good - and a well done conclusion of the HP saga...
  • I got my overalls for Copenhagen Pride (August 25th) thanks to [livejournal.com profile] furrbear ;-D. I had some pictures done, which can be seen behind the cut )
  • I've started the last course i need to complete my bachelor in Computer Science - It's a summer course called Robots and Dynamic Agents Interface Design - 3 weeks of building robots and learning about aspects about Human-Machine interaction. My team's first task was to build a robot to push bricks off a surface (to get acquainted with the Lego Mindstorms hardware) - You can see a picture of our robot here )

Oh - and by the way - my cold seem to have gone - no coughing for days now

Here in Odense the weather consists of grey clouds, partial showers, low temperatures and not the faintest sign that we're in the end of July...

To top it off, I've seem to come down with a cold - or at least a ever-running nose...

So to cheer up a bit, I've decided to post some pictures of me from May where the weather here was a lot more enjoyable than it is now....
