Brief intermission...
Aug. 30th, 2009 10:53 pmHi LJ ...
It's not that I've been away from LJ entirely ... I've been reading all (or at least most) of the entries on my ever expanding friends list...And each time I think to myself that I should make an effort of trying to post something of my own...
It's not like my life is empty and without incident (as the lack of content on my journal could be subscribed) - but I've yet to find the knack, so to speak - getting into the rhythm of sharing a little bit of my own thoughts and experiences ;-D
But to quote ye olde F.R. David earworm: "Words, don't come easy to me...." (especially putting things into writing)
None the less, I've prepared something today that I put forward for your collective enjoyment (otherwise there's always the Mute button)
I noticed that all questions asked to me during the "ask me anything" month of march (yes, It's that old) had something to do with my skills as a singer/chorist...
So I offer you a rendition of John Barleycorn Must Die by Traffic (the Steve Winwood vehicle of the early 70's)... It's a bit off-key in some places but I hope you can bear with me...
