It's Tuesday, Dec. 29th here (GMT+1) and I'm still able to log on -- plus, the message about shutting down has been removed...

I think they just gave people a little extra time.

For me, I'm still logged in - but I can't refresh the home page, I can open the message window, but nothing ever comes up in it.... I suspect it's being taken down from the back end first.

Hmm ... when I look you up, you're listed as offline... but other than that, the site seems fully functional (still)...

Searching, reading messages etc. works...

Chatting also seem to work...

My bad ... it was a quirky problem on my end.

Still, I'm not going to expect the site to stay there until they make some announcement countering the earlier one that it was shutting down.
